Lesson Overview
Lesson Five introduces us to the book of Acts and highlights its theme. We examine major passages that summarize Luke’s story of Jesus’ apostles as they spread the church from Jerusalem to Rome.
Lesson Objectives
When you complete this lesson, you should be able to do the following:
- Explain Acts’ big idea and its outline.
- Name and explain the contribution of seven key passages in Acts.
- Explain the difference between and the contribution of Acts’ “growth” passages and “snapshot” passages.
Personal Reflection
As you proceed through this lesson have the following question in mind.
