Lesson Overview
Weather is arguably the physical force of geography that impacts us most often and deeply. It affects how we dress, the food we eat, and when we travel. In this session, we will explore the weather of the Promised Land by looking at the summer season, the winter season, and the types of wind that impact this land.
Lesson Objectives
When you complete this lesson, you should be able to do the following:
- Understand the nature of the summer season in Israel and the culture of summer in Bible times.
- Understand the nature of the winter season in Israel and the culture of winter in Bible times.
- Understand the sources of wind in the Bible and how the nature of the wind from those sources differ from one another.
