This video is heavy and filled with great emotion. After watching this film, I was able to learn more about the Holocaust and the devistation is caused. Education is power, when I learn more about the past I am equipping myself to be better a human for the future generation.
Very moving. I’ve actually had the privilege of visiting Jerusalem and seeing it. With the modern move among certain political realms to question whether the holocaust actually happened, this type of memorial is absolutely necessary
As I watched the video showing Yad Vashem, I experienced feelings of grief for the people and loved ones impacted by such a tragedy. I am angry that I could take place in a modern world and question why didn’t people do more to stop this genocide? Overall, I feel intense sadness and grief.
Yad Vashem is a very melancholy as people visit and recall the terrible happenings of the Holocaust and those who perished. Despite the Holocaust, The Jews were preserved to live on today because of God’s mercy.
It’s sad place to look, but God shown his hand power of restoration and preserving the Jewish people out of destruction because without his power and mighty they would have bee killed them all.
It is a hard place to see, but it is necessary to remember. It also shows God’s hand at preserving the Jewish people, because without Him they would have been wiped out.
I believe it is a sad place, but a place that must exist
My adult son once visited the holocaust museum in Washington and called home overwhelmed with emotion. I believe it is very important that we share in the events of history and be reminded of what happened to the Jewish people.
Such monuments are important for the whole world as a reminder of what could and did happen to God’s own chosen people in their disobedience. And, his remaining involvement in their lives through the memorials.
When you really consider the magnitude of the holocaust it is amazing that the state of Israel still exists. It shows God’s hand and involvement even though he was far from his people at that moment.
As horrible as the holocaust was, I think its important to have such a memorial there for visitors to learn from it and remember what happened.
