If we allow any false doctrine to enter the church, it can and will lead to other false doctrines and many will be led away from the truths of the Gospel.

Without correct doctrine the church would be open to any kind of teaching and would become worthless. People would not really be saved because they were not taught the true gospel. Many would not believe that Jesus was both man and God, many would not believe he actually died on the cross, many would not believe he arose the third day and many would be Judaizers who would believe Christians still had to follow and fulfill the Mosaic Law.

Correct doctrine is very important because it’s truth will set you free. Correct doctrine is where the Holy Spirit is alive. Correct doctrine lets you know the power you have through Jesus Christ. As Christians, we are held responsible for ministering the truth about Jesus Christ; it is the only way someone can become a believer.

Correct doctrine is important in order to reach and teach people about Jesus. Presenting a false image of who Jesus is will ultimately hinder one’s walk with God. It will cause people to be judgmental, self righteous and arrogant. This will keep people from truly knowing the real Jesus.

Correct doctrine is correct because important because it allows believers to focus on teachings of Jesus who though deity but also came in the form of flesh to save humanity.

Colossians was written to correct a false teaching about Christ’s deity and humanity. Correct doctrine is important in order to dismiss confusion. The Bible teaches believers to study to show myself approved unto God. When we work out our salvation by reading the word of God and applying the word to our circumstances and situation, the word will work and our trust is increased.
But on the other hand, if we are not familiar with the scriptures and lack the wisdom, knowledge and understanding from the word for ourselves, we can easily became mislead into false teaching.
The gospels teach about Christ’s deity and humanity. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John have written documentation of Jesus’s life, death, burial, and resurrection. These books give us encouragement and hope that our Lord lived a life as an example of humility, joy, and the fruit of the spirit. When Jesus left this earth, He promised us eternal life with Him. Let’s receive these truth with humility and confidence.

Correct doctrine helps lead people on the righteous path of Christ… It needs to be correct so that the path doesn’t dissolve or lead to evil.

Jesus was fully God and fully human. This is important as only God can perform miracles, and break the power of sin and death.
