Jesus performed a miracle when he fed the 5000. After this, it is recorded that Jesus is the Bread of Life. This communicates the truth that Jesus can satisfy our deepest “hungers.”
In the parable of the prodigal son, Jesus communicates the truth that God stops at nothing to restore us. We can put ourselves in the shoes of the prodigal son and see that God will welcome us back with open arms and forgive our sins.
Jesus healed blind Bartimaeus. He gave the parable of the seed sower to demonstrate how different people react to His Word.
The raising Lazarus from the dead is a miracle. In miracles Christ demonstrated his power and authority over the physical world. In this case he demonstrates his authority over death. He clearly states that what is happening is for his glory, the glory of the Father and that the disciples might believe. This theme is true in all the miracles Christ performed.
The lost coin and the lost sheep are parables. Parables are simple stories that illustrate a spiritual truth. While the story is simple the truth may often be hidden and require thought and nvestigation to reveal. I have heard them described as an earthly story with a heavenly meaning. Many are preceded with “The kingdom of heaven is like—–” He was describing the unknowable truths of God’s kingdom to them in earthly comparisons that they could understand and relate to
One miracle was when He turned water into wine, another is when He healed the blind man. An example of a parable is the sower who sower seeds some that fell by the wayside and the birds are them. Then some seeds fell on stony ground where there was not a lot of soil, they didnt take roots and the plants were scorched by the sun. Then some seeds fell on thorns and were choked. Still others fell on good ground and yielded a good crop. This parable describes how God’s Word goes out to some people, but th at don’t understand it and the devil takes it away. Then others hear the word, accepts it with joy, but it doesn’t take root so it only last a little while. Then others who hears the word cares more about the world and riches, they are choked by worldly desires and become untruthful. Then those where the seed falls on good ground are fruitful.
The first example of Jesus’ miracle was making wine out of water at the Canaan feast. It also fed more than 5,000 people with two fish and five rice cakes. Examples of Jesus’ parable especially spoke a lot about heaven. For example, the story of the prodigal son, the story of the seed-spritter, etc.
The miracle of calming the storm and the wind shows that Jesus is the Son of God, and only God can go against the law of nature.
The parable of the good Samaritan teaches us the lesson that everyone can be a helper to others, regardless of race or ethnicity.
An example of truth through a miracle is when Jesus told the waves and wind to be still. The waves and wind would obey no one but their Creator.
An example of truth through a parable is the Good Samaritan. This parable shows us that it doesn’t matter who we are or where we come from, Jesus died for us.
One example of a miracle that communicated truth was when Jesus turned water into wine. It showed that God was in control of the laws of nature.
One example of a parable that communicated truth was the sower and the soil. The good soil represents the people who hear the Word of God and live by it.
I thought that Jesus was interested in her shame and hurt. He ministered to her through her problems events that might have stopped her from being open to him. This tells me not to be sidetracked in conversations
An example of truth through a miracle is God ministering to the woman at the well by knowing her thoughts. The truth was that He came for everyone.
An example of truth through a parable is the story of the Good Samaritan. The truth was that we should love our neighbors (and who our neighbors are.)
The truth taught through the miracle of turning water into wine teaches us that God has authority over everything in this physical world.
The truth taught through the parable of the Good Samaritan shows that God is not bias toward us.
The truth through a miracle like the feeding of the five thousand shows that Jesus satisfies not only our physical hunger but our deeper spiritual hunger as well.
The truth through a parable like the Prodigal Son shows that God stops at nothing to restore us.
Jesus performed turning water into wine. And a parable he told was about the prodigal son.
An example of a miracle is when Jesus rubbed dirt in a blind mans eyes and made him see. An example of a parable is when Jesus told of the pearl of great price.
The Prodigal Son
Feeding the 5,000
Miracle : something that is only possible by power of God – turning water into wine and fish and loaves to feed 5000.
Parable : is a story told to convey truth and teaching – Parable of the mustard seed.
A miracle is a supernatural event that violates our natural laws. A perfect example of this is the heal pot my own daughter when she was just a baby.
A parable is an imaginary story told in such a way that it could be true. The store of the sower and the seed is a very good example
Miracle – the feeding of 5,000 which John relates to Jesus being the Bread of life.
Parable – The sower and the seed where the seed is actually the Word of God as it falls on the various conditions or soils of men’s hearts.
The miracle of healing the paralytic at the pool in Mark 2:1-12 where Jesus first told the paralytic that his sins were forgiven and when the scribes questioned in their minds about Jesus speaking blasphemies and who could forgive sins but God. Jesus knew what they were thinking so He asked them whether it was easier to forgive him of his sins or to take up thy bed and walk. He then told them so that they would know that the Son has the power to forgive sins he healed the paralytic.
The parable of the Sower in Luke 8:4-18. Here Jesus compares how seeds (God’s word) falls on different types of ground (believers) and how what happens to that seed (belief).
In the miracle of the fishes and loaves, in which he alone could feed the 5,000 people, Jesus explained that he was the Bread of Life. All people were searching for the eternal Bread of Life which only He, Jesus, could provide. In the parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus explained and expanded on the commandment from God to love our neighbors as ourselves.
Jesus walking on water is an example of one of his miracles. This miracle is documented in Matthew 14 22-33 NIV, Mark 6:45 NIV, and John 6:16-21 NIV. Through this miracle Jesus was communicating that He could do nothing apart from His faith in God. Jesus was able to walk across the water because He put all of His faith in God. An example of a parable is “the wise and foolish builders”. This parable could be found in Matthew 7:24–27 and Luke 6:47–49. Jesus used parables (stories) to communicate lessons to his disciple’s. The parable of the “wise and foolish builder” taught His disciples that in order to build a strong foundation in Christ, one must actively live out His word. Using God’s word to lead your life, will ultimately provide you with a strong foundation.
The miracles Jesus performed were the evidence that Jesus was (is) the Son of God. The parables are stories Jesus developed to give the listeners (and us)an understanding of real life situations that we can apply in our every day lives.
Parables were stories in which every listener could place themselves, like the prodigal son.
Miracles were acts of love to demonstrate that He is God!
Parable is the Sower in which He taught us to be fruitful disciples.
Miracle is raising Lazarus which was His final one and the way He showed He was God.
An example of Jesus’s miracle is turning water into wine. One of the parable is sowing a seed or the prodigal son. I can read parables over and over again because they make you think and Jesus was a good story teller and wise teacher.
Raising Lazarus from the dead was a miracle.
The parable of the lost sheep is an example.
Feed of the 5000 was a miracle followed by the teaching of the meaning of the Bread of Life. Also the Prodigal son parable teaches us many different things if we can understand it. The prodigal, who just wants the fun and good times in life, ultimately understood that the life he was leading was leading him in the wrong direction. When he finally came home, we see two distinct reactions. The father is overwhelmed with joy and celebrates the return of his lost son. His brother is mad and angry with his father over this. I see this is the bigger picture of this story. The anger and envy that the son had could have led him down the wrong path if the father had not intervened.
He explained His compassion through the parable of the prodigal son and demonstrated it through healing the sick.
Jesus was able to communicate his teaching by using miracles and parables. Fo insatnce in feeling the 5000 people jesus was able to meet their physical as well as spiritiual needs. He was also able to teach them not to be wasteful by asking his disicples to pick up the left overs and they were able to gather 12 full baskets of food! By using parables to teach his disciples Jesus was able to teach his disciples and future belivers about the secrets of the kingdom of God.
Jesus communicated truth though miracles and parables. An example of one of his miracles took place in Jairus’s house and an example of one of Jesus’s parables was the parable of the prodigal son.
A man named Jairus was searching for Jesus in a crowd one day. He was searching for Jesus because he believed his 12 year old daughter had died. Jairus wanted Jesus to come to his house and pray for his daughter. When Jairus found Jesus and asked Jesus to come to his house, Jesus replied to Jairus “don’t be afraid believe only. ”
When Jesus arrived at Jairus’s house, He said that Jairus’s daughter was not dead but asleep. Jesus then stretched out His hand and said to the little girl, “Talitha Cummi, which means rise up little girl. The little girl sat up and Jesus said, give her something to eat.
An example of one of Jesus’s parables, I would like to speak about the parable of the prodigal son. A man had two sons. One of the sons wanted the share of his investments/money. The father honored the son’s request by giving the son his money. The son spent his money foolishly. He also became a poor man. His dad wanted the son to return home and live like a rich man again.
One day the father saw his son coming home from a far off. The dad was so happy to see his son that he began to run towards his son with open arms and a friendly kiss.
The son was happy to be home again.
Miracle – healing the sick.
Parable – Jesus as our shepheard
He said, “I am the resurrection and the life”, and then he raised Lazarus from the dead. That is communicating truth!!
The person who finds a treasure in a field that is worth all he has goes and sells all he has to buy that field. That communicates the truth that God is worth everything! He is the treasure worth giving up everything for.
A parable I love is about the sheep and Jesus is our shepherd… He leads us and helps us believe. We were once lost but now we are found. I love the miracle of turning water into wine because it is so simple yet so complex. He proves to us that He is there and will help those who believe without seeing firsthand. Reading about these miracles and parables helps me believe even though I never did see Him in action. The word is passed and those who have faith will see His truths.
The first miracle Jesus performed was at a wedding. He turned water into wine.
A popular parable Jesus spoke was named in Matthew, Mark and Luke. The parable of the Sower and the Seed.
I enjoy the parable of the lost sheep because it shows us how much God loves us. I think it is amazing that Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. It shows that Jesus is a divine being.
