We are to “hate what is evil and cling to what is good.” In Romans it talks about the struggle between sinful flesh and understanding of what Christ did for me. It will always be a battle between my flesh and living the sanctified life God has called me to.

In 2 Corinthians 5:17, The bible teaches that “… if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” This shows that our mindset will shift and that sin would be offensive and cause turmoil the same way it does for God.

What the Bible teaches about the change in our lives when we trust in Christ is that we change in the way we live and give up bad habits and stop being people who try and lead us in the wrong direction. We start to live more how Christ lived when he was on this earth. We live more of a righteous life. When we sin our reaction should be of repentance. We should be convicted and know that what we did is wrong in God’s eyes.
