If we do not take geography into consideration when we study Scripture, we will not get the fullest understanding of the text and miss out on additional blessing s that the Holy Spirit wants us to have.
You can either miss information or misunderstand information
By ignoring geography in the Bible we are missing all the deep truths God has in the Scriptures for us.
There is a huge risk when the geography in the Bible is ignored. The reader misses the details of various situations. When the geography is not studied, the reader can miss or gather misinformation that the Lord has for us through His message. By including the geography in our studies, we see a fuller picture and have a deeper understanding of God’s Word.
Ignoring the geography that resides in our bible limits our understanding about what the Lord God wants to reveal to us, we may miss something and perhaps we may even misinterpret what we read. My personal feeling that, if we ignore it, we definitely miss the obvious best thing that the Lord puts in front of us.
By ignoring the geography in the Bibles, we may misunderstand the passage and so miss the important points Lord wants to share with us. It is a heavy price that I am not willing to pay.
