Overview and Objectives
Since the time of the Enlightenment, faith and science have seemed at odds with one another. Whether it is the question of origin—Where did everything come from?—or humanity’s view of the natural world around us, faith and science are viewed as opposing worldviews. This lesson will examine the relationship between faith and science by investigating the fine-tuning of the universe and how it speaks to the reality of a Creator.
When you complete this lesson, you should be able to do the following:
- Describe the unique nature of the universe and how it demonstrates evidence of a designer
As you proceed through this lesson have the following question in mind.
Have you ever gazed at the stars at night and thought about the grandeur and immense size of the universe? How did it make you feel? And how does it feel to realize that you know the One who created it all?
