Union seems easiest because it can be described by analogy to ‘marriage’. The concepts are well explained but ‘Participation’ sounds quite deep in that it associates us with events that took place in Christ’s life in His past; which is amazing yet deep and needs dissecting.

Identification and incorporation are easiest. Church attendance, prayer before meals, sign of the cross in gratitude and expressions of faith. caring for others, are easy ways that we are identified with Christ. Incorporation is felt when we worship together and recognize our common faith in various churches all over the world (especially when common phrases or a liturgy are used). Union and participation are harder because it is not easy to be Christlike all the time….

Identification. Personal changes, how I was verses how I am now, are easiest to see in myself.

Identification is the easiest for me. I was raised in the church and have been identified as a Christian or a person in Christ my entire life. I think incorporation is harder for me because I have visited many churches and have participated in them but have found it difficult to feel like we were one body in Christ.

It is easy to relate to all the terms, but incorporation is the one I find the most complex to apply. It is always difficult for us to see that we are members of each other.
