I learned that God owns everything and we tend to put money first instead of God. That we can’t serve two masters , we must love one and despise the other. Money is the root of evil but God is the true root wealth. We must seek first the kingdom and all righteousness will be added upon us.

Now I know God owns everything and I own nothing.

Now I know I’m spending God’s money, and that I don’t spend my own money, that God owns all my money.

God has wisdom in how he wants me to spend His money. I never was good in my money and I’m living in poverty currently. I believe once I correct my attitude towards spending God’s money, God will pull me out of my poverty.

I didn’t realize the size of the universe, until given the breakdown provided in the notes! This lesson is about way more than finances; it is truly changing my perspective of how mighty God is. He created and owns literally everything yet still specifically knows me and loves me.

I found it intriguing that there are over 2,000 verses or mentions about money in the Bible! That shows just how important this topic is.

It means everything we have is a gift. Only the owner of something can gift it to someone else.

Christian Learning Center Forums Why would it be important to know that the Lord is in control of our circumstances?

I think it is important to know that the Lord is in control of our circumstances because as human beings we tend to worry about many life circumstances. God is the Creator of all things in heaven and earth and everything is in His control so worrying is needless. His word says to trust Him because He cares for you and will supply all your needs (food, shelter, clothing) and sometimes He is gracious enough to supply some of your wants if they fall in line with His will for your benefit. God takes care of every part of His creation. He is faithful to keep His word or promise, so we need not worry. Worrying only indicates that we do not trust Him to do what He said He would do.

It is important to know that the Lord is in control because He is good, loving, and wise. He knows what I need better than i ever could.

    1. Gives Peace: Knowing
God is in control helps us stop worrying, like Jesus said in Matthew
      6:25-34.
    2. Builds Trust: We can
trust that He will use every situation for good (Romans 8:28).
    3. Brings Contentment:
If we trust God to meet our needs, we can be satisfied with what we have.
    4. Changes Perspective:
Challenges become opportunities for God to shape us or work out His plans.

Because He is LORD over all. He created everything and all is His. He has all power, all wisdom and He is everywhere.

I believe it is impriotant to know that to realise that he is omnipresent and that we do not need to worry and be our own saviours. By knowing that He is in control it encourages to trust Him in every circumstance including financial ones. Also knowing that He is in control lets us not to focus on food, clothes , or shelter but rather on seeking His kingdom with all our heart and strength.

    1. Unexpected Help:
Sometimes, help comes at just the right time, like an unexpected gift or
      opportunity.
    2. Closed Doors: When
one plan doesn’t work, God often opens a better path.
    3. Tough Times: Hard
moments often teach us to depend on God and grow stronger.
    4. Answered Prayers:
Looking back, you might see God’s hand in situations that seemed
      impossible.

When I go through something, I give my burdens to God in Jesus’s name and He helps me. He even surprises me with good things! God is good!

I have survived very well when I resigned and had a minimal income or no income at different stages of my life. God does cause a gift to come in, or cause the government party to give dividends to tide through COVID, or cause me to “chance” upon a good buy that is value for money, etc.

By listening to His voice when He is serious about His wishes in a certain area of life. There are times He will reinforce the still small voice with a dream, a vision or another person talking to us. It is seriously the most wonderful of adventures.
