That was a helpful overview of another Prison Epistle. Pauls’ theology in the first half has everything to do with his exhortations in the second half. 

So what struck you most in this lesson: Paul’s willingness—even eagerness—to suffer and die with Christ? His contentment in all circumstances? The topic of suffering in Philippians is worth another lesson, but we’ll discover that it’s related to another important subject.
