Wrap-Up

Hopefully this lesson gave you a bigger view of God’s grace by setting it in a cultural context. We also hope this helped “put us in our place” you might say. We don’t “call the shots” when it comes to God’s favor, and we can’t presume to insist on how He keeps His promises to us.

In the next lesson we’ll take a slightly different path into what you might think of as a purely ritual or religious topic. But that won’t be the case, as you’ll soon see.
