Do you tend to think that Jesus was out to break up families as he called for radical individual discipleship? Think about his call to leave “father and mother, brothers and sisters.”
In this lesson we’re going to learn about a creative tension on this topic. It turns out Jesus was starting a new family. He transferred many of the same traditional assumptions about kinship loyalty to this new family. Let’s listen in on how this unfolded.
