Acknowledging God’s ownership helps me not to focus on spending only on what I need or what I want. I consider what God may want in the bigger picture and in the further future. For example, might He want me to be giving to the needy? Do I give when I feel moved to, or do I even include in my budget this giving as a regular sum? Finally, remembering God’s ownership assures me that He is always Jehovah-Jireh and He will provide for me and my family. I was indeed at the crossroads when I was contemplating my dwindling account as I do missions out of free will and without regular support, and when I struggled with whether I need to even give to others. But seeing the money as God’s and not mine can help to steady my disequilibrium of heart.

I consider what all I have is God’s and with frugal spending and savings helped me and wife to pay off Home mortgage, Auto Loan and Credit card payments. I am debt free now. I do tithing.
