The Bible is God’s Story, the metanarrative of redemption of all creation. The Bible is God’s story to us, and God invites us into His story. The Bible is God’s story, and we can take its worldview as our own, its story of amazing love that redeems us as God’s own. The Bible is God’s story, and we see its historical unfolding in creation, fall, the covenants and law of the Israelites, the fulfillment of the promises in Jesus the Messiah, the establishment of the Church, the Body of Christ, and, yet to come, the new heavens and new earth, eternal life with God.
