Herod’s Playground and the Good Samaritan – New Testament Jericho
To get a little more background to the Good Samaritan story, let’s visit the palaces in Jericho that Herod built along the very valley where that story took place. We are getting acquainted with the most infamous “host” in Jesus’ day—one who was, as expected, only serving his own interests in his hospitality. By contrast, the Good Samaritan was helping those who could not repay him. We’ll be learning more about social reciprocity in this video.
