Jesus modeled the greatest adaptive leadership tool ever used when he washed the disciples’ feet (<b style=”background-color: var(–bb-content-background-color); font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; -webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;”>John 13:1-17). Clearly Jesus’ leadership was adaptive more than technical.
Wow this is amazing didn’t realize I could google and get this sight. Hopefully will do some more research

Member07/30/2023 at 15:28 in reply to: Which of the five Triggers of Unbelief can you relate to most? What practical steps can you take to “pull out” this/these trigger(s) from your life? The first one(offense) hit me the most.I didn’t realize that I was walking in offense with God. I hoping to have a chance to have a pause every time the lord uses others to teach me something and I chuck it as to who are you to try tell me what to do and how to do it….I really need a break through in this area in my life.

Member07/30/2023 at 15:20 in reply to: This session purposefully pushed you “into the corner” by focusing on the most extreme Unbelief Triggers. Undoubtedly you wrestled with some strong or negative emotions. Describe how you think God feels when we rise above His wisdom and judge Him as unjust or unloving because we can only see life from our perspective and not His.I’m learning its a sin to have unbelief in ours hearts towards God. It displeases him
-
By being exposed to truth…. I now can focus my trust in his word and trust that all the unbelief’s are triggers that can be controlled with God’s help and strength in Jesus name amen.

You’ll move into doubting and questioning God, right before unbelief raises its ugly head in rebellion. What steps will you take to reverse your path and pass the next Belief Test?I will gracefully call on God for his wisdom and provisions to see me through the testing of faith. Seeking his face and presence and power to make known his plain in purpose at the time of testing. Cause I do know that with out him I can’t pass the test. AMEN

Briefly explain how you’re going to respond in your next test of faith. (You can also write a short note to yourself outside of this discussion forum about how you will respond in your next test of faith. Keep this note and read it when you are tested.)After having this understanding of scripture I want to be able respond when trials do come— with knowing God has my back and pray for covering that I may pass the test with wisdom and understanding in Jesus name amen

Member04/12/2023 at 17:00 in reply to: What are some strategies you’ve used to overcome worry? Were these helpful or not? Explain.Reaching out to people and sponsors and support groups to help with discussions and accountability, and having to trust God in the midst of all the challenges and changes that was happening to me. Feeling overwhelmed wasn’t easy but talking about it to people that have your best interest at heart helped a lot. It is possible to be healed and set free from pain and anxiety God is good he definitely saw me through this valley that I was enduring for many years.

The not knowing what is causing the pain and why….. is the big question. But thank God for his word and his healing and for the faithful servants of God that can write about it so we can be set free and healed.

If so, what was helpful in moving you past that stage?I had been stuck in the anger stage for so many years. I didn’t realize how angry I was until I went to tombstone to my grandmothers grave . I fell to my knees and began to weep. I was asking for forgiveness because I was so upset with her and months went by and maybe years later the weight was lifted off my shoulders, and I began to walk in freedom.

Today I’m a recovering alcoholic and 6 years sober and serving the lord as we speak. God is good no matter what storm comes our way. Trust in the lord even when its hard to amen.

How can prayer instead be action of the most practical kind? The not enough statement ,should or could be a open door for a conversation about Jesus and the good news of the gospel.speaking and praying in faith to the individuals that struggle with that idea or thought can lead into amazing wisdom of God for that conversation and leading them into prayer together.
