I find it interesting that we make financial decisions, especially major ones, without consulting God first. This is unfortunate because we as Christians know that God truly owns it all and knows what is truly best for us. We are just loaned a small portion of it for a brief time. We often become impatient and impulsive. The God Owns All principle extends to every aspect of our financial decision making. Yes, we earn money with which to live but only because God allows us to do so. Therefore learning and living this will take an immense amount of unnecessary pressure off of ourselves and free us to become better stewards.

    Good morning,

What I found revealing is how often we allow God to handle every aspect of our lives except when it comes to money and that God own everything that were created. The challenge that I believe is being mindful of allowing God to lead us in our financial decisions no matter what.

I agree you cannot worship both I always grew up knowing this but find myself straying away from the most important one which is Christ, I’m trying now I’ve been through a lot of anxiety, depression and PTSD for some trauma I went through as a child and getting let go from a job I loved was an eye opener that I chose money over god and thinking now it was a lesson learned.
