What in the notes did you find revealing, interesting or challenging?

Even though you know this but to be reminded upon reading the verses that speaks about everything belonging to God brings you to place of consciousness of your role.
-
What I find revealing and interesting in God’s word is that when He directs our path in life it is usually not what we think should happen. He clearly states in scripture that His ways are not our ways nor His thoughts our thoughts, yet as humans, we continually believe He thinks as we do. He knows all things and what is best for us, so trusting Him is for our benefit. The challenging part is trusting Him. We always want to do things our way.
-
Lots of new insights reading these verses. One is that when we realize God owns everything and we are only stewards, that knowledge should be liberating.
-
It’s revealing that faithfulness with small things is key to receiving greater responsibilities from God. I found it interesting that how we handle money reflects our true character and values. The idea that wasting resources could lead to losing stewardship responsibilities is challenging, as it reminds me to be diligent and careful in managing what I’ve been given.

- Revealing: God
always provides, but His ways can surprise us. He is faithful, but we
don’t always know how He’ll meet our needs. - Interesting: The
story of the orphans holding bread shows how trusting God’s promises gives
us peace. - Challenging:
Accepting that everything belongs to God, not us, can be hard when the
world tells us we own what we have.
- Revealing: God

Why would it be important to know that the Lord is in control of our circumstances?

It helps to take the pressure off of us and gives us a sense of security to know that the Lord is in control of our circumstances. He sees and knows all and only wants the very best for us. He allows difficulties to draw us closer to Him, without them then we might think that we have no need for Him. In the end, all circumstances help to mature us and accomplish His purposes.
-
So we can trust Him and give to the upbuilding of His kingdom here.
-
Knowing this — really KNOWING this — you can never be truly disheartened or feel forgotten.

Recently, I bought a motorcycle, and after I did, I got buyers remorse. I now know it was a foolish thing to do because I just didn’t have the money to pay the monthly payments. I prayed to the Lord about my finances and he answered my prayers. I was in debt already, with credit cards being maxed out. I prayed earnestly to Him. I know that I should of Waited til my finances were in order, however my prayers were answered. I was able to consolidate other financial duties(credit cards) which they called me. I was just waiting for an answer, and they called.

God has supplied all of my provisions through His grace and mercy
There have been times that seemed hopeless in my life that I couldn’t meet my financial obligations; and then miraculously He intervened and met my responsibilities.
An example was when during the winter one year, I didn’t have money to buy heating oil.
I went out to my mailbox and there was $100.00 in cash.
I never fond out who put it there but I knew that it was the hand of God to put it into the mind of the person who gave it to me.
