I had not really thought about my job being Gods plan however I have always fell lucky on jobs starting as a temp and being kept on. I have always tried to work hard and do a good job. I’m now thinking and praying about retiring.

I agree that honesty is the best policy but, in a world, full of devils, demons, and imposters it is hard to live a one hundred percent honest life. Although we strive to be completely honest loyalty only goes so far. So, I practice being good.

I now know that I have always possessed the characteristics of a Godly employee. I did not know ambition is described differently for Godly people:
Pleasing to our Lord and Savior
hard working and faithful

Nothing about God’s work ever surprises me. In the Lord’s eyes I wish I was an only child. just spending minutes away from his glory can become overwhelming for me. He works overtime to make sure we have what we need. I surely do love the Lord and all of his good works.

God calls us and prepares us. He creates a desire and even a passion in us regarding His will for us. He doesn’t necessarily give us a lot of initial information about His plan for us, but rather develops it into our plan as we are obedient to His calling. His peace in our heart and the confirmation from others may be ways He uses to lead us to His desires for us. It is likely outside our comfort zone and challenging, but is designed to develop our character along the journey. He will be there to help.

Christian Learning Center › Forums › Personal Reflection (you don’t need to answer this in your group if you don’t want to). Think about a time where you were recently dishonest. Were you able to complete the 3 “restore” scenarios found in the notes? If not, what is hindering you from doing so?
