    1. We are transparent about our incomes and expenses. Although this does not mean that we cannot have individual monetary accounts and decide to buy our own things, it means that these items are not hidden from the budget whenever it is consolidated.

    2. However much or little we earn at each phase of life, we should continue to give back to God a fraction that we can manage.

    3. We consult one another before we spend, if it is an extremely big amount or if it is a recurring sum (which will, of course, escalate to a big amount).

    4. We do not blame one another if in the end our spending or investment turns out to be bad judgment.

    These “once-for-all” decisions help us to be able to evaluate finances together and make unified decisions. They also free us from the baggage of blame.
