Studying the Old Testament helps us understand who God is and how He interacts with the world. It also shows how God’s promises and plans unfolded over time, laying the groundwork for everything in the New Testament.

A lack of knowledge of the Old Testament wouldn’t all us to truly understand the coming and Jesus Christ and how is the salvation for the world’s sins

The Old Testament is the foundation of the Bible. You miss a large piece of God’s story of redemption, and our need for a Savior without having the Old Testament.

The Old Testament is the foundation of the Bible.; without knowledge of it, we would be unable to understand the Bible in its entirety. The Old Testament tells about Jesus and provides the foundation for faith in Christ setting the stage for the New Testament.

The OT is the foundation of the whole Bible. It’s the promises and expections that are written in the OT and foreshadowing of Jesus Christ to come. The NT is the fulfillment and completion of the OT. By learning the history and prophecies in the OT we can better understand the NT and enhance our understanding and knowledge of Jesus.

The OT was quoted by every writer of the NT. It is their foundation for their faith and is where we should also build our foundation.
