To learn more about who God is since he’s the foundation of it.

People should study the OT to better understand the entire story of the Bible, to learn about the entirety of Jesus’s role and work, to strengthen our confidence in the foundation of our faith, and to know and appreciate God and His character.

It would weaken our understanding because without it we wouldnt be able to see as much of the beauty and power god has and the reason we our how we our today

The Old Testament prophesies about what is to come and be fulfilled. You only have half the story without the old Test.

Because the OT is the foundation, without the foundation we cannot understand fully the NT.

We wouldn’t know who God is. And it is the opening for the New Testament
