Jesus Christ encouraged us to consider the sparrow. This is an example of natural geography being used to illustrate God’s tender care for His creation-especially us!

I chose the Healing at Bethesda.
Physical Geography – John 5:2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the sheep gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew Bethesda, having five porticoes.

Natural Forces – John 5:4 For an angel of the Lord went down at a certain seasons into the pool and stirred up the water; whoever then first, after the stirring up of the water, stepped in was made well from whatever disease he was afflicted.

Human Geography – John 5:7 The sick man answered Him, Sir, I have no man, to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, but while I am coming, another steps down before me.

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall posper.
    Psalm 1:1-3

In Matthew 16:1-3, the Bible states:
The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven. He replied, “When evening comes, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’ and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.
