I read the bible as a collection of separate books. I realize the importance of reading it as one book to connect the continuous story of God’s revelation to mankind and His plan for redemption.

Personally, I read the Bible as separate books, but in the mindset of all books are connected in the unity of God. I own a ESV journal collection set off Old Testament and eventually New Testament. When reading I hold the individual book and interpret the reading along, and upon completion meditate on the who, what, when, where, why and how is. The journals allow the reader to not get daunted or, “jump” chapters of the Bible, treating is as a journey, NOT, a race.
