I agree with the Doctor. Using larger sections of the bible, read the whole bible (even the old testament!!). Our reading and the stories are teaching points. We need all the books to see the more of the story of God. In all ways we are needful of His never ending love and grace. Using these strategies makes sure we cover all the books and learn from them.

Reading large sections of the Bible helps with context and putting yourself into narrative.

By doing this you get the full picture of the intent/big picture of God’s Story. Smaller pieces can be interpreted differently then intended.
