When we recognize explicit communication is a warning, perhaps of some impending danger or trouble, we can learn from it. Implicit communication informs a listener what could happen when one fails to understand what the writer or speaker says. These are the benefits in one being able to see the understanding in a passage of scripture.

It helps you to close the communication circle. If you don’t know the difference even after understanding the context of the communication, you can leave actions or understanding uncertain. The benefit goes back to closing the communication circle which means the communication is has been understood.

This is the implicit communication equally has a purpose and an expected response which we might miss because of the implicit nature of the communication. Our ability to discern the implications in a passage support accurate understanding of God’s nature, ways and expectations of us; they enable us to provide an appropriate response to God and close the cycle.

Some communication is very explicit and applies directly to all of us, whereas other communication requires us to respond as the part of our story contextually
