Yes. In a discussion with a non-believing friend who doesn’t see the need for salvation.

What comes to mind is a question a former friend asked me many years ago, “When is Jesus coming back?” She stated that people have been saying Jesus is coming back for many years. I attempted to explain that no one, not even Jesus knows the exact date of his return as only God knows. But, Jesus will come as a thief in the night and we need to be ready to be caught up to meet him in the air. My friend and I lost touch so I don’t know if she received Jesus or not. I pray she did.

Yes, when someone close to me said that there are many ways to God, that all religions are correct. I responded that in the Bible Jesus said , “I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me.” There is only one Way.

Yes. Although god doesn’t need defending, but our g=faith in Christ does.
A friend of mine left the church because of something that happened within his family. To make a long story short his parents went through a separation than to divorce.
He mentioned that his family were members of a church but left after one of his parents had an affair. and I know that this might be far-fetched and not the same as defending my faith but to me it was. My God, my faith was being questioned. His response was, why would God allow this to happen. The answer that I offered didn’t help. I felt that God didn’t allow this situation to happen but the adults involved made a choice that contradicted what God would want us to do as Christ-followers. It kind of showed me that regardless of how close we are to God, the choices that we make as humans can harm our salvation. -
I was making a purchase at a service station when the question me about a t shirt that I was wearing that contain scripture from the gospels.
