I will try and word this as best I can….one instance at work a coworker and I started talking about faith and prayer, he clearly stated he was not a believer but was open to hear and learn about it. as the conversation went on it came to a question about how do you know prayer works and how do you know God is talking to you. I said if you pray and believe, God will answer you some way or another, sometimes it’s very subtle and sometimes it can be as clear as a person talking to you. I was not sure if I got through to him at all but I did what I could and left the rest up to God. about 2 months later he stopped me at work again and told me something I will never forget, he said after our conversation he started praying that God would show himself to him and said God spoke to him as clear as him talking at that point and said its was unlike anything he’s experienced. so amazing! I thank God for giving me the courage to stand up and talk about my faith and Him at work, its times like these that give us a boost of renewed hope and faith to keep fighting the good fight for Gods kingdom!

Reanswering the question since it did not show up:
When my wife and I were working at the Gig Harbor pool, one of the life guards, an Atheist, wanted to refute Christianity. For a series of weeks we talked through the elements of faith. Eventually he came to a position that he could not refute Christianity and he asked Christ into his heart. It was a good experience. What was often told him was I do not know the answer, but I can find out. The Lord was gracious to lead my wife and I to the right answers. -
Just recently told a customer to have a blessed day. He counteracted by asking what do you mean “to have a blessed day?” I think I was dumbfounded and then quickly said God loves you and to enjoy his love he gives you
The customer said he didn’t believe in God. I said what do you believe and he said he believes in a Indian god of an elephant.
He ignores me when he comes into store now-
Your experience reminds me of a sermon I heard recently about the Parable of the Soils. (Luke 8:4-21). The minister expounded Christ’s teaching on the different types of responses to the gospel. The man you encountered was immediately turned off over the mention of God. As Jesus explained, the man appears to represent hardened soil through which the seed does not penetrate. One can only pray that the Holy Spirit softens the soil of his heart that at some future time he is able to receive the seed of the Word of God.

I am currently doing that now. For 10 years I have been witnessing/sharing the gospel with my childhood best friend. She has had so many questions about the faith and why I have continued to stay in something like this. She recently got baptized and I am so glad God has helped me to defend my faith all these years. Heaven rejoices for one soul!

Yes, who puts food on your table?
Is it God or your parents?
If you don’t save money? You’ll live on the streets? Better to be prudent ?
