Saul – thought He could do Samuels priestly service. Saul must have been disappointed in Gods absence … when Samuel hadn’t turned up at the agreed time.
Elijah must have been really disappointed in God after the huge testimony of His power through the fire from heaven – followed by Jezebels death threat.
Noah must have been disappointed in God when absolutely nobody believed him when he warned them of the coming doom.
Jonah must have been really disappointed in God for giving the Ninevites another chance!!

when I fall into sin, and I dont know how to get clear before God. I am afraid I’ve gone too far. that asking for help is useless. that i cannot be healed. this causes a divide in the relationship i have with God, and my fear turns into a passive aggressive anger against God.

I can’t recall a time I was mad at God. There have been times that I question God and were mad at the situation, or begged for things to be over, but not mad at God.

Injustice in our society, especially injustices against children, is a big reason for me. Also when my earthly family relationships have failed me, that can be very upsetting.

I believe that people can become very disillusioned and disappointed with their own local churches and the fact that hypocrisy can be prevalent. I also believe traumatic life events can tear people down and make them appear that they are not acting like Christians.

I think it’s easy to say you’re a Christian when do you want to look good in front of people. But when times are hard it’s much harder to maintain your faith.
