It is helpful to understand from what perspective a person views God, salvation and how creation came to be, as well as what sacred scriptures one believes in or how one may view the scriptures of the bible. This helps to find a common base on which we can start a conversation and as the Holy Spirit leads us, introduce people to Jesus.

Learning different religions gives you the ability to know what they believe and respect it. But with that knowledge you can introduce them to Lord Jesus. You can counteract what they have been taught.

If you have knowledge of other religions, it can help define what you believe in and how that is the same and different from another religion. It can also help you in supporting your own argument when confronted by someone else who has questioned what you believe in light of their own religion.

Religious faith: is a belief that God created you for a purpose. I must practice my faith by:

    Studying God’s word

Spending time with God through prayer and meditation

Practice my faith daily by walking my talk.

In my own words I will define a religious faith as a system of belief that looks to a higher power as object of worship with a system of codes for worship and organized way of executing rites and carrying out rituals.
