It can help when we talk to believers of other faiths so we can show we understand where they are at and show them where we are

The benefits of studying religious faiths different from my own helps to be able to embrace and build your defense about the individual faith. In addition, it enlightens one about other religious groups beliefs and practices. It should also prevent misunderstandings and offenses when we are dealing with others of different beliefs.

I would do it to find out why others cannot appreciate the practice and belief of the true God. I believe that there is only one God and one fate for all living beings and every other religious faith system stems from that one faith. Most people just do not have the patience for God, but patience is actually a virtue (goodness). When I read Ecclesiastes, it helps me to deal with stress, learning that it is unnecessary to stress over things that God is not stressing about. Most of the time I overreact and ignore my inner voice, but I always return to Christ, and this is calming. I have studied Buddhism before, but I have never known Islam or Judean practices, faith, nor beliefs. Buddhist people practice faith through chanting rituals, and they have been known to work in keeping the soul calm, but for me I always return back to biblical scripture.

I can see how other people reveal their faith and know more about why they practice activities that I may deem as odd or foreign.

Studying different religions allows somebody to understand the world from a different perspective. It helps us to have empathy as well as allows us to engage in productive discourse with others about important topics that guide our understanding about who we are and where we come from. As we learn about other religions, we may even find truths that we were unaware of.

A belief system that explains everything, including things that cannot be observed or proven using the scientific method.
-
Religious faith is how we see our relationship with the divine being that we worship.
-
A religious faith is way to look at the world to try to understand what is not seen. It is trying to understand where our non-physical attributes, I.e. our spirit comes from and where it is going. And if it is subject to a physical and / or a non-physical reality.

As follower of Christ, I put my central faith in trinity belief God, Jesus and Holy Spirit as one. Jesus is my redeemer who brought me new life through his death and resurrection which breath me a new life. Discovering Jesus was the true journey to understand the true meaning of life and also experience inner peace and joy.

I believe in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. That God the Father is the creator of heaven and earth. That Jesus was crucified and raised from the dead. And the Holy Spirit live within us.
