This will help me be able to understand where other people get their beliefs, and how I can best interact with them.
-
To understand their standpoint, what they believe and why they believe it.
-
Severals:
1. to understand other religions’ standpoint so to be able to respond properly and wisely
2. to find a way to relate so in order to share the Gospel
3. for comparisons to my own beliefs
-
It helps us to better interact with people we come into contact with in our daily lives who have different beliefs than us. If we don’t have a basic understanding of their beliefs, then how can we understand each other?

Religious faith is an all encompassing belief in something larger than ourselves; rituals, prayer, community belief, and gatherings. Individuals have a personal belief that is a part of larger community faith; using common resources to learn and grow from, such as the Bible.

Religion is a practice of one’s belief, through our attitude, conduct and behavior.

Religious faith is a belief in something bigger than ones self. I think of religion as a set of rules or structures around a person. In the case of Islam that person is Allah in Buddhism it is Buddha and Christianity-Christ. The faith part is faith in the person using the structure as a way to follow one’s faith or faith leader.

Religion is a confidence that One greater than yourself exists the personal practices that lead to communication with Him.
-
The study of a person’s spiritual beliefs about God and how it relates to the world around them.
