Monotheism – I see this daily in my area with Christianity. Judiasm is seen as I study the old testament and my experience with Islam is mostly through tv and news.
Deism – The material would suggest that Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin would have seen themselves as deists because the rejected miracles and asserted that God does not interfere with human affairs.
Naturalism – The theory of evolution came from Charles Darwin’s work on The Origin of Species suggesting that only matter exists and through it came everything we know now.
Nihilism – Ivan Turgenev suggested in his book Fathers and Sons that a nihilist does not bow down to authority or accept any principle on faith. I feel this is something that is being used in attempt to change our culture through politics.
Existentialism – I have run into many people who believe God does not exist and meaning in life comes through some temporary cause that elevates their level of importance in life. This is played out everyday in their desire to achieve more, have status and create their own meaning.
Pantheism – The Vedas are the ancient Hindu sacred texts that would suggest that you can become one with the universe through meditation.

Moralistic therapeutic deism-(book) by Christian Smith
I originally heard about this idea through courses that I was taking at Liberty University. The idea that a person takes good morals, sometimes associated with biblical views, and applies them based off of their own conviction. Essentially letting their own moral compass and feelings be their God.
This is obviously an error for any human being, considering that fact that personal conviction differs with each person. Therefore what may be morally incorrect for me, may be morally correct for you. Causing indifference and giving no true basis for clear and concrete truth. -
Monotheism- As a Christian, going to church we meet people alike who follow and practice the principles of Christianity. On the same hand, I have friends who are Muslim and practice and follow the teaching of Islam, believing that the Quran is the infallible word of Allah (God).
Deism- There are a lot of rappers and artist who I believe fall under Deism as they profess that “we are all gods and have the power to create and change things as there perspective. There are many people that I have met in passing and heard speaking that rejects the supernatural events we believe in as Christians, and also rejects the rituals and ceremonies of all religions.
Naturalism- I think of Charles Darwin in the case of Naturalism. I remember all the books he would write and put out to make theological doctrines look like the worst thing ever in which he stated, ” at worst totally fraudulent and at best merely symbolic of deep human aspirations.”
Nihilism- The best example of this was the one given in Ivan Turgenev, who stated, ” A Nihilist is a person who does not bow down to any authority, who does not except any principle of faith, however, much principle may be revered. I can say that some hate groups and or organizations resembles many parts of the Nihilism philosophy.
Existentialism- I have witnessed many people become this after life as they once knew it was gone. In serving in the community, I have ran across people who have lose all hope and believe that life is meaningless, and that there is no significance in life other than what they can personally create.
Pantheism- I think of Buddhist off the top of my head when I think of the principles of Pantheism. Yoga is another example that comes to mind in this particular world view, and the state of reality they want you to dive into.

I think Deism and Naturalism have a lot in common. Both believe in the idea that humans are intelligent beings that are capable of autonomy and in the reality of nature playing a large role in their beliefs about what is real and who we are.
The most most dissimilar are Monotheism and Nihilism. Monotheists believe in a Creator, in human beings having inherent value as image bearers of God as well as purpose in being in relationship with their God, and having a knowable and hopeful future. Nihilists believe essentially all the antithesis of these things — that we don’t have meaning, morals, purpose, or a knowable future.

Christianity and Judaism are the most similar because they only differ on the topic of Jesus. Pantheism and Monotheism are the most different because pantheism means everything is part of God, while monotheism is only one God.
-
Monotheism and Deism are most alike because they both beleive in a creator (God), and creation. They differ in how that creator/God interacts with creation. Monotheism and Existentialism are the most dissimilar,

Monotheism and Deism are the most alike as they both share beliefs in there being one God who’s the creator.
Nihilism and Existentialism are most dissimilar because while a nihilistic view is skeptical about moral values and don’t bow down to any authority, but pure philosophy. Existentialism finds no meaning in life, so they rebel tradition reason and thought. -
I think that Judaism and Christianity are the most alike. Both believe in one God and both believe in a Messiah.
I think Christianity and Nihilism are most dissimilar. They are totally opposite of each other.
