    Monotheism- The Bible

    Deism- The US Constitution reflects this belief from the founding of fathers

    Naturalism- Carl Sagan

    Nihilism- Nietzsche

    Existentialism-Kierkegaard

    Pantheism-The Odyssey displayed the Greek pantheon

    Monotheism – Chris Pratt, actor, has often times referred to his belief in God during award ceremonies

    Deism – My friend believes there is a God, doesn’t know what kind, believes in an order and lives to be a “Good Human”

    Naturalism – Big Bang Theory, Often mentions how science can explain life

    Nihilism – Divergent, A book and movie series has what I believe a Nihilist view.

    Existentialism – Gods not dead, a movie, the professor seemed to be like this until a near death experience

    Pantheism – Hinduism

    Monotheisms – The belief that there is one God. One example is Christianity and the Bible.

    Deism– a belief that God created a well-ordered world that operates on its own, can be understood through the perspectives of notable figures. For instance, American leaders like Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin were known to be deists.

    Naturalism– The believe that matter is all that exists and is best understood through science. The most famous naturalists I discovered were Charles Darwin and Steve Irwin, “Crocodile Hunter.”

    Nihilism– The philosophy that positive values are to be questioned and dismissed. Therefore, nothing or what is now being termed “Nones”. Many of our young people today are starting to pick up this belief.

    Existentialism– Life has little objective meaning, so significance must be subjective and created within. The belief that we self-authenticate.

    Pantheism- Everything exists is God (Sprit). Matter is an illusion. All is God. Albert Einstein and Elon Musk are on the list of people considered to be a pantheist.

    Monotheism – The Bible has OT for Judaism, OT & NT for Christians. The Koran for Islam.

    Deism – This reminds me of several of our founding fathers such as Thomas Jefferson and Ben franklin.

    Naturalism – I think of Darwin and his theories. So many believe in evolution as fact nowadays instead of a creator.

    Nihilism – nihilism is an existential atheism, but not all artists are nihilists.

    Existentialism – I think of the person who wants what he wants when he wants it, and nothing can get in the way.

    Pantheism – this reminds me of a universalist church pastor who told me that god was the sum spirit of all living beings and animals in this world.

    I think Existentialism and Nihilism would be the two most similar, since they both emphasize the meaninglessness and absurdity of life. I think Monotheism and Nihilism would be the most dissimilar, since one believes in a personal God who reveals Himself to humanity and one believes that all religious and moral principles are to be rejected and life is meaningless.

    Nihism believes that truth and values are to be questioned and dismissed. This is somewhat similar to Existentialism when it comes to the conclusion that there is no objective meaning to life – so significance must be subjectively created within. Both of these seem to be heading in a similar direction.

    Monotheism highlights the existence of God and His involvement with the universe. This varies greatly with Existentialism seems to put self on the throne of one’s life, and authenticates teh individual through their own choices – apart from a divine interaction.

    In my opinion nihilism and naturalism would be similar in that they are showing no spiritual realm whatsoever.

    Monotheism and naturalism seem to be the most dissimilar as they are at opposite ends of the spectrum for how this world came into existence and has changed.

    Naturalism, Nihilism and Existentialism seem very similar to me. No God. No truth. No standard for morals. No meaning.

    Pantheism is very different than the 3 listed above because they believe everything is God/Spirit – “everything has meaning”

    I believe the two worldviews that are most similar are Monotheism and Diesm because they both believe in one God that created everything and that purpose is derived from God.

    The two worldviews that I believe are the most dissimilar are Monotheism and Nihilism because Monotheism believes in one, all powerful, creator God that interacts with the people of the world and gives meaning. Nihilism rejects religion and faith and believes that objective truth and positive values are to be questioned and dismissed.
