Explain how serving Christ in the workplace can be just as powerful as serving Christ in the church or the mission field.

In every platform God gives we are to Honor Him with our life. At work is no exception, there are people hurting next to us looking for a solution that is not found in the world. As we live for God and He lives in us we are that answer the world around us needs. We can make an impact wherever we are, the location does not make a difference, its what the child of God carries inside that closes the gap between heaven and earth.
-
Honoring God will bless your life that testifies to Him and glorifies Him always no matter where you are, however, in your workplace, gives glory to God in how we carry ourselves as Christians. How God is magnified in our life’s and how we draw others to Christ.
-
Wherever I go I am on the mission field. I need to be available to be a witness for Jesus. I am always on the mission field.
-
To those working with you, you could be the only point of contact with Christianity. You could be the only ‘Jesus’ people see.
-
Honoring God with your life that testifies to Him and glorifies Him always no matter where you are, however, in your workplace gives glory to God in how you carry yourself as a Christian, how God is magnified in you and how you draw others to Christ.

How does a biblical worldview differ from a nonbiblical worldview as it relates to life’s purpose? What is the significant difference?

The non biblical worldview is focused on getting ahead and making the most income a person can. The biblical worldview is focused on reaching the lost and knowing that God will meet all my needs. These two views are very different because non-biblical views is all about me and the biblical worldview is all about putting other’s needs before me.
-
The biblical worldview focuses on us yielding our lives to Christ. Our aim is to glorify God (something that nonbiblical worldview will not grasp).
-
A biblical worldview instructs us to live a life loving God and loving others, even including our enemies. For the world, life value is measured by how successful you are, by hooks or by crooks. The world puts people into courses, and those in power and with status will want to be served rather than serving others.
-
A biblical worldview shows us that is not about us, it is about glorifying God. A nonbiblical worldview makes it about us and about material successes.
-
A biblical worldview indicates we are made in God’s image and therefore created for relationship with him. It recognizes not only our love for what is beautiful and good, but also shows us that we are morally flawed.
Non-biblical worldviews don’t believe we have a purpose and believe that we should us science and technology to benefit us.

What new insights did you learn from being mindful of time and the seasons of life? Why is this important?

We just assume that life is a given, instead of a
gift. We should be thankful for the gift of life that we have and not see time, experiences or life lessons as ‘just part of life’. -
This was a great reminder of the brevity of life. It is so important to be mindful of time and the seasons of life so that we can store up wisdom and live a God honoring life. I gained new insights on what a God honoring life looks like and that it needs to walked out every day of the week.
-
Life is short. When we take this into consideration we can approach our remaining days more intentionally. This motivates us to gain wisdom from a biblical perspective and live a life more pleasing to God.
-
I have considered that time is short, that we are here to serve and that everywhere I have been around others, that was an opportunity to minister Jesus Christ.
-
We do not know when our time end, it is important to do all things to honor God everyday and treated today as last day on earth.

Why is a time of prayer and reflection and a resolve to love God and others necessary for setting the course for a life that honors God?

A time of prayer and reflection and a resolve to love God and others are necessary to set the course of honoring God at the center of your life and bring glory to his name. According to Colossians 4:2 -Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. Thankfulness is a way of having a reflective look of things and a resolve of love is to recognize that God is love and to know love is to know God. All are necessary in setting the course for a life that honors God. According to the text it is important to Bring glory to God with your life, being mindful of the time he has granted you and really taking a reflective inventory of how you are living daily and moment by moment.
-
We need to have a clear focus and dedication to live for God. Otherwise, we will be too easily sidetracked by things in this world and be influenced by its values that we will drift away from God’s path.
-
It has to start with God. We have to engage God first before we can go out into the world and live a God honoring life. We have to continually go to Him in prayer, evaluate ourselves, and ask Him to help us live a life that honors him. Refreshing ourselves with time with Him and His word will continue to shift our focus on Him and off of ourselves.
-
It allows us an opportunity to grow in Christ and have an effective testimony.
-
We cannot discern what God is saying to us, how He is directing us and how we can honor Him without ongoing and consistent prayer, reflection and submission to His will and plan for our lives
