    That it’s a comparison to the 5 books of Moses. I like that illustration. I also like how he set it up in a package, which I didn’t realize before. It is also sad to realize the early church the people wanted to know how they were supposed to live and today that isn’t the case.

    I have known the beatitudes, but I see now that it really is about counterculture, and humility.

    I learned a renewed appreciation for the counter-cultural living we are asked by Jesus. It is a confirmation that being called ‘rebel’ is not always a bad thing.
