When we control the way that we respond to other’s that is mercy. As a follower of Christ you care about others that are misfortunate ,whether it is through their own fault or not and find themselves is situations of misfortune
-
Mercy is showing compassion to others. It is showing forgiveness to someone who you could revenge against, but you make the choice not to.
-
Mercy could also be translated as compassion or pity, care for others who, whether through their fault or who, whether through their fault or not, find themselves in situations of misfortune.
Mercy is something we m yet choose to do, to be humble enough to see someone else is in need of something we can give. Whether emotional, physical, or spiritual support. If we can come alongside our brethren in a way to enable them, growth can take place for each.
-
Mercy is a choice we can make to extend compassion to others whether they deserve it or not.
-
Being merciful is showing compassion to others. In doing so, people have showed compassion to Christ as the Good Samaritan did who took monetary and physical care of the injured Samaritan he found along the road. And just like it said in the Septuigant, those who show mercy will receive mercy, and we are all going to need mercy!

Pure in heart means to have a heart change. A clean heart that is consistent with our behaviors/actions.
-
To be pure in heart can only be done satisfactory through the blood of Jesus Christ and the help of the Holy Spirit. It is the goal of every believer to be pure before God.
-
From what I understand, a clean heart comes from not only accepting Jesus as our Savior but also demonstrating outwardly that changed heart. With time, study of God’s word and maturity one will hopefully demonstrate more of the Beatitudes in their life and therefore work on having a pure heart.
-
Being pure in heart means only wanting God’s will for my life, and then carrying it out with His guidance and help.
