To be merciful is to love and treat each other as God would have us treat them. This includes not judging , forgiving…..

To be pure in heart will be demonstrated in when we apply the Fruits of the Spirit in our lives and to attempt to live as Christ lived.

To be pure in heart is to be close to God and his will in your life.

to be pure of heart is to put God first and before all other things that will draw you away from Him. Things like the newest phone, bigger house, bigger and better things that would take the Place of God in our hearts.

I believe that “being pure in heart” means always putting God first in everything we do. By following Him, studying His Word, and through prayer, we are cleansed and we are able to develop an amazing intimate relationship with Him. As we learn and grow in our relationship, we learn to change our actions.
We begin to match our behaviors and actions to our inner hearts and beliefs.
