I can see that God does see and will reward our suffering in heaven, so we need to stay focused on being a Follower of Christ, and just do his will and what pleases our Father in h.eaven

I honestly had never thought of this before. Luke was prominent, being a physician. His culture was that of the upper course. It’s interesting that he took the Beatitudes a little further to include three woes. Maybe Luke was specifically calling out those in which he lived and worked around… his own community… the upper course, or rich.

We do not have to impress or even please the world. God is the only one we need to please, for when we do we know we are living for Him and not for the world.

Let Christ rule your life, show His love and mercy to others, don’t be afraid of being mocked or persecuted for believing in Him, and the kingdom will come and we can be a part of it through following these teachings.
