I think that learning about Paul shows us once again the plans God has for the redemption of mankind. Not to get too far ahead but just as Moses was raised in an Egyptian court and therefore understood the language, the rituals, the procedures of court; Paul was raised in the finest school, taught by the best available Pharisee and also held dual citizenship as a Roman and a Jew! The path God laid out for him was perfect to fulfil God’s plan. I think, also, that the urgency and desire that Paul exhibits in sharing the gospel should be our desire as Christians.

We see Paul, a persecutor of the church to a top course advocate of the faith. It shows no matter your past there is room for everybody to be of service to God. Secondly adversity is no barrier to propagating the gospel because even in prison he was still witnessing for Christ.

Paul is an example we all need to follow about how we are to have a passion for sharing The Gospel. And to do that we will all suffer. But we have an eternal reward.

In learning about the many personas of Paul, I hope to learn more about Christ and His will for me. Paul overcame obstacles, was commissioned to bring the Good News to the gentiles, and he understood how much God loves us – I want to understand that better as well.
