The freedom that I have in Jesus Christ now is from sustaining myself from the world, the flesh, the walk in my life. I understand clearly now why Christ died on the cross. To make me free and to be with him, walking free Into God, spirit

As we repent and turn away from our sin God forgives us by His grace and mercy. As we live in Christ, he begins to change our hearts to be more and more like His.

We have the freedom to live with hope and love and to share that in what we do and say.

The freedom that we have is Jesus dying for our sins. He paid the price by the shedding of his blood. This is an impact that effected humanity. now we are able to gain access to have fellowship with the holy spirt. when Jesus died the holy spirt came as a comforter.

Prior to this course I have heard the fruit of the spirit preached and even read about it but I never really took the time to study it in full.

Yes, I have self-studied the fruit of the Spirit with Our Daily Bread booklets and the Bible, but not extensively or with a teacher.

Yes I have studied the fruit of the Spirit before, but In this season of my life, I feel I lack some of the fruits of the Spirit. I understand how the Spirit can transform me, and I know this isn’t merely about knowledge but about the Holy Spirit working within me. I hope this course helps me walk in a way that more clearly reflects Christ’s character.

in studying the fruit of the Spirit in the past, the focus was on the fruits themselves, love, joy, peace, etc. but the study did not necessarily take into account the context of the writings around the passage.
