We have freedom from sin, from the punishment of sin, from The works of the flesh since our old man is crucified, from sinful desires, by God bringing to us his holy spirit, his grace, his Mercy, his favor, and commending his love towards us wow we were yet sinners. We can now run this race with patience, as Paul would say not as one beating the air, but having been honed, trained by the gospel, exercised in the holy Spirit, we now can live by the spirit, walk after the spirit, and bear the fruits of his spirit.

Through the work of Christ, I have been freed from the desires of my flesh. I have been freed from the power of sin. Now as a new creature in Christ Jesus, I am free to bear fruits according to the nature of my heavenly Father. GLORY TO GOD THE FATHER WHO LOVES ME, TO THE SON WHO LOVES AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME AND TO THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO HELPS ME IN MY DAILY WALK IN CHRIST. HALLELUJAH!!!

We have Freedom to worship and proclaim Jesus as our Lord and Savior. We also have the Freedom to live in the life that Jesus Christ has died for and rose up again. Because of Christ we no longer have to live in fear or shame nor do we have to accept Satan lies. The impact to my life is the blood of Jesus has wash the stains of sin from me and it gives me authority to live, breathe and walk in the path to Minister to the lost and the weak the forgotten and those who feel unworthy and to go forth with the Holy Spirit dwelling in me to make me confident in the Lord which makes me love being chosen for the assignment.

Over my 40 years of being a follower of Christ, I have studied the fruits of the spirit and have also experienced them personally. As I look upon the list of what comes from the Holy Spirit’s work that can take place in our lives, I marvel at how each of those attributes has affected my life and how I need to be able to exhibit them as I walk with the Lord daily in His service to others. I want to be able to explain them better to other people who do not have the benefit of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, but in some manner, do believe in God. The fruit of the Spirit is one of the most tangible indicators that God is working in us.

I have not studied any course related to the fruit of the Spirit. I decided to take this course as a starting point.

Although I haven’t studied the Fruit of the Spirit, I have worked to cultivate them in my life as a result of day to day challenges, and overcoming my own ‘learned helplessness’ to have a more powerful life in Jesus. Understanding my inner challenges, and then consciously and in prayer I’ve searched my heart to draw them forth, reminding myself that such precious gifts need to be employed as God intended me to employ them.
