My favorite is the freedom from fear – fear of death, fear of unexpected or undesirable circumstances, etc. In my life, I can trust God instead of being fearful.

Christ died to set me free from any bondage from Satan, the world and sin. I am now free to serve the Lord and to live according to His will for my life. I am no longer a slave of sin neither of Satan. I am a child of God who is free to love others and be victorious over sin.

We are free from the law and to live the life that God has created us for. We are free to do what He has called us to.

Freedom from death and sin is the result of Christ’s work on the cross. It is a freedom to have life in Christ. This impacts us as Gods work of sanctification in our life occurs. We gain an understanding that we are loved, forgiven, and set free. It creates a restored love relationship with a Heavenly Father, the gift of the Holy Spirit as guide, and a mediator who intercedes on our behalf.

Before Christ came and set us free, we were in bondage to sin. Such bondage produced sinful desires that we fulfill by doing sinful things. Since God is holy, we were unable to please Him in such a state. After Christ set us free, we were, for the first time, free to please God. This was made possible by Christ’s death and resurrection.

I have not studied the fruit of the Holy Spirit. I want to know precisely what it is through this course.

I knew of the fruit of the SPIRIT. I took this course because of my desire to walk in the SPIRIT

I have studied the fruit of the Spirit before. I like how Dr. Dodson puts it context and community.

I’ve just read about them, not actually studied them. I just know that I really would like to learn more about the one on self control, as this seems to be one I am learning to control. I am taking this course mainly to help the Holy Spirit guide me on this one.

I’ve studied on own. I want to learn from an educated source about the spirit.
