  1. Explain in your workbook the difference between “resting” and “wresting” in how you relate to God.

“Wresting” is about trying to force God’s hand into doing what we want Him to. It suggests the type of manipulation of divine forces that was common in the ancient world in pagan religions. “Resting” is about trusting God and focusing on Him, rather than what He can do for us.
