Behind | The Seven Churches of Revelation

Several of the sites of the seven churches mentioned in Revelation have archaeological evidence that illuminates the background for the letters. Let’s visit four sites here with onsite videos—Ephesus, Pergamum, Sardis, Laodicea.

The three remaining churches also have rich background, although the remains available today are limited—Smyrna, Thyatira, Philadelphia. Two of these churches are commended without criticism by Christ in John’s visions.
