I am not surprised by this. The whole Bible is connected as a message from our creator. Noone could make up the amazing story of our God and His creation.

The frustration lack of purpose in life, and to understand the real meaning of purpose of life. I becoming to see the connection to it. Jesus taught us to fear God and to love God with our heart and soul, and to love others as well. Life without love is empty.

Both Ecclesiastes and the New Testament talk about the same God. The experiences of humans, even in different places, fit into the present day experience. The main focus is to fear God and keep His commandments. We shall love our Lord with all our heart, soul, and mind. We shall also love our neighbor as ourselves. The alignment between OT teachings and those of Jesus are clear.

I found it interesting. I have read through the book of Ecclesiastes, but I did not make the connection with Jesus teachings on loving God and your neighbor. This was a refreshing outlook and changes the view I have on the book.

I learned that it is a good connection between Ecclesiastes and Jesus’ teaching to love your God (fear God), and keep His commandments.
