God’s Nature is good, he is patient, kind, understanding, and loving even when we are sinners. Humanity is inadequate without God. The secret to a complete life is a friendship with God. God will never forsake us. We can always turn to God for support, guidance, and wisdom.

God is creator and sustainer . He made a covenant with Abraham and He keep it . Human beings disobey his commands and face consequences , still God remain faithful and his love for humankind never ceases ,no matter how much deviates from his commandments . He is revealing His nature through every persons introduced i, Genesis . In short , God is sovereign, creator of heaven and earth and He is still on the throne .

It tells us that all things were created by God. It tells us the sequence of this creation, and how all things were created good. It tells me there is orderliness, beauty and purpose in all of creation. It tells me how, before God created man and woman, He prepared a wonderful environment for them to thrive in. It also reminds me of our creatureliness – how we are limited and we should live in submission and thankfulness to this Creator.

The book of Genesis tells us who the creator of everything is and the progression of the created things. It gives us examples of what God intended for His world to be like and men who exemplified Godly character such as faith love and righteousness. The book of Genesis also shows the fall of man and the continuation of sin through different lineages. Genesis shows that man’s relationship, obedience and faith on the creator is essential for them to live in peace.

The Book of Genesis tells us how God created all things. That He did it in six literal days, not “chunks of time”. God created ex nihilo by divine fiat. He creates everything with purpose, order, and organization. He created things with emphasis and also others for His glory “He made the stars also”. The Genesis narrative is in direct contrast to modern secular cosmology, and stands unique and authoritative in all that it proclaims historically and scientifically.

The book of Genesis tells the story of God and his creation. The days of creation are outlined and how it was all good, along with God resting after He finished creating. Then, we learn about the fall of humanity and how this allowed sin into the world. As a result, everything is broken, we as people, our relationships, the earth, systems, work, etc. God continues to try to draw his people back to them, showing them that He loves them and wants them to know who He is.

The first several verses (1:1 – 2:3) in the book of Genesis provide a sort of prologue for the rest of the book. In this section, Moses gives an overview of God’s creation of the world. There is a symmetry in the order of creation. Day 1 and Day 4 both concern the creation of light and the objects that give light. Day 2 and Day 5 see the separation of the sky and the sea, or waters above and below, and the creatures that fill them – birds and fish. Day 3 and Day 6 tell of the creation of dry land and then the creature that inhabit the dry land – including humans. It is not completely clear what is meant by the term day used in this section. What is clear is that humans are created last. This is the opposite of what tends to happen in other creation myths where humans are created first and then other creatures follow. Another thing that is clear from these verses in Genesis is that the account of creation is intended to highlight the Sabbath. In His rest on the seventh day, God ordained, from the very beginning of the world, the need for Sabbath rest. This concept was very important for the Israelites.
