In BibleJourney we make a priority out of understanding the context of the Bible. That includes geography and history. It also includes the cultures of Israel’s neighbors, and we have lots of written sources to explore those cultures. We’ll look at religious hymns, legal codes, historical records, prophecies, treaties, poetry and proverbs. Looking at parallels will help us understand the uniqueness of Scripture.

This part of your journey may be the most stretching—and the most rewarding. You will hear God speaking in ways that are remarkably understandable.
