Throughout Bible Journey you’ll see different characters identified with specific themes. One theme that dominates Abraham’s story is faith. In fact, four different New Testament writers will direct our attention to Abraham with respect to his faith. He doesn’t inherit a relationship with YHWH. He doesn’t inherit a religious tradition; for him it’s entirely personal. Our own spiritual journey, as his descendants, begins like his.
